Off Topic - Past issues of Analog.

I recently read part 1 of a serial from a 1994 issue of Analog. How do you find old copies of the magazine? The libraries don't carry it. They aren't online. Went to Half Price Books and they had one issue from 1968. The 1994 issues were not on eBay. I've seen them in electronic form, but they are asking full price($5) for them.

What's the name of the serial, who is the author? Maybe it's been published as a novel.

I found an index of Analog authors, and the only serials I find that were partly or entirely in 1994 are "Starmind" by Spider and Jeanne Robinson, which is available as a novel under that title, and "Hobson's Choice" by Robert J. Sawyer, which is available as a novel entitled The Terminal Experiment.

Oopps. Thanks. Well, I haven't found any recent editions. But I did find this site. http://www.clarkesworldbooks.com/ANAMAG.html . But it looks like they've gone out of business. They're only selling online to clear their inventory. And they have a minimum order of $35.
If it has not appeared in a collection of stories by now, I guess it won't. I'll check a few more Half Price Books. If they don't have it, I may have to order from that site.

I was just in Half Price books over the weekend (finally picked up Vulcan Academy Murders, my Jean Lorrah Trek collection is approaching completion) and I noticed they had bundles of magazines like this scattered about the store. They might not be in the magazine section, so it wouldn't hurt to ask or just look around the aisles.
