We've got eight entries this month, so I think that warrants allowing two votes.

I'm not going to make it a public poll, if you feel the need to cheat that's your problem not mine. ;)

So - don't forget, TWO VOTES :)

(there may be a bit of a delay to the poll appearing because the post has to be done first and I'll probably get interrupted half way though...)

Here are links to the stories

captcalhoun - Sniper: jat'yIn Story
Mistral - Going Home
RobertScorpio - Final Revision
TheLoneRedshirt - Don't Feed the Clowns
TimmyWl - The Patrol
USS Fardell - A Time of Terror
think - Void 4, Where Christ has died
Starkers - In this Life or the Next

Voted for Mistral and TheLoneRedshirt

Thought it was a pretty strong month with a number of very good entries. I was always going to vote for Mistral but I had a lot of trouble splitting my second vote but TLR just edged ahead in the end through a complex system I call, "Eemy, meeny, miny, moe." I'm actually been serious, I just couldn't split my second vote between three other entries (including TLR's).

^^

that happens to me a lot too! Which is why I like to have more than one vote if it's possible, so the decision doesn't drive me completely bonkers!

Stalkers and TimmyWl for me this month - but this was a very good month.

Thanks for all the stories, people :techman:

TLR-it was nice and creepy and Starkers:scream::evil::devil::scream: because that was so obviously ahead of every other entry, my own included. Grrrr.

um, someone only voted once.

The Patrol and Don't Feed the Clowns, Mistal's entry was pretty damn close behind though.

Thanks for all the votes guys! :)

Yep! In the most important election running today, I hereby declare TheLoneRedshirt the winner of this month's writing competition :techman:

I should have gone with the truly terrifying idea I had-a throwback tale about John McCain as president!:guffaw:

Congratulations, TLR! Well done! So what's the new theme? I need something to distract me from the corner I've painted myself into with Remnants.....:wtf:

 Don't say things like that! I want to know what happens!

i know what happens-I just boxed myself in trying to get there and am struggling not to erase 5 pages of writing to get out.

You could always used a dream sequence like they did years ago in "Dallas" to explain away an entire season.

Am I dating myself, or what?

I won? How did that happen? I paid good money to the Dallas Cowboys and Mickey Mouse to vote for Mistral! :wtf:

Got an idea for the November challenge. I'll have it up shortly.
