O'Brien's tarantula, Christina - where did she go?

Captain Ransom

Lieutenant Junior Grade
Red Shirt
Why did Christina, O'Brien's pet tarantula completely disappear after the episode "Realm of Fear?"

According to the link below, she is never even mentioned again. =(

Christina (Memory Alpha link)

Not the most fascinating Star Trek question ever, but I have a few tarantulas of my own (hence the interest).

I find it really incredible that they have Mexican Red Knee (aka Brachypelma smithi for those tarantula keepers who get upset when only the "common names" are used) tarantulas on an alien planet (sarcasm). Christina happens to be a species of tarantula I don't own, specifically because they seem to love to flick urticating hairs your way.

^She never shows up again, so it's not clear. Interesting that you should start a thread about this, because I was wondering about a man-sized tarantula serving in Starfleet earlier today.

She wandered into Picard's ready room, climbed up the aquarium, fell into the water and almost drowned. But fortunately, Livingston ate her while she was still kicking.

Now that would be hard to get used to. O_O

Keiko stomped on it.

Lol! You know what - I bet you're right!

Eaten by a Cardassian vole.

^Or this!

Lol! And then we would never know what happened to her, so this could be it.

Or... maybe Spot ate her. =O
