I don't think it will backfire ... most people in this country have cable or satellite -- if they don't want to watch, they won't. I read that only ABC passed...

I doubt it will be that big of a deal. the 8pm slot is typically where the lowest rated of the night winds up. Besides which fewer things than usual are all new this week, with the World Series and all.
