Someone can be inspirational without being successful. It isn't always about a stack of accomplishments. Sometimes it's about having the balls to take the chance in the first place, regardless of the result.

Isn't it interesting, and perhaps rather ironic, that in trying to describe the type of woman who breaks sexist stereotypes and shows what women can do, we fall back on phrases that indicate that being a good captain is acting more manly? Just a thought.
