Also take into consideration that all ships after the Romulan War probably utilized technology from the Vulcans, Andorians, and Tellarites, after the formation of the Federation, they are probably going to look quite different from the NX-class, with a few exceptions. A few might share a few similarities here and there, but that aside, I prefer to see the similarities of the vessels already invented.
