I gotta say, I really like the curved pylons. And the bridge looks great too (not to mention HUGE).

You're missing an important shot...

Interior Bridge, to one side of Chekov, there are other control console by the railing, before the upper level control consoles, and they're manned.

Nice one. Ta:techman:

So, exaclty whos Enterprise is this then. Pikes, kirks or the Kelvin where Checkov maybe serving.

Briidge looks great, i love it. cant keep wishing the old one back cos we aint gonna get it.

This is clearly ground based - those shuttle are immense, way bigger than DS9's runabouts. How are those going to fit into the Enterprise?

This movie looks sweet! :D

I'm guessing that Sulu isn't manning his station at this point in the film because he's fighting a big dude with a saber after skydiving onto the weapons platform with Kirk.

The new warp effect looks to be a successful example of Abrams trying to bring a sense of "reality" to Trek. It looks a great deal more like a natural environment of some sort that the ship is passing through, rather than a streaking light effect. The shot where we see them coming out of warp into the debris field from the POV of the folks watching the main viewer evokes the feeling that they're surfacing suddenly from under water - not literally; it just has that feeling.
