I've had Alfred Publishing Company's 2011-2012 pep band demo CD playing this afternoon. One of the tunes that they're publishing this year is the Theme from TJ Hooker. Really?

And, I don't think the arrangement is all that good.

When I was in junior high band, we did "Heal the World."

Don't even ask me how that worked. I just remember that my sax section had the lead "vocal" melody, and it was awful.

In my elementary school choir we sang "Heal the World". I thought I was done with it until the next year and my elementary school band, when we started playing "Heal the World".
