This programme is being produced by people who are qualified to do so and will not sound like or have a "fan production" sound in any way. And the reason you posted this in Gen Trek and not Fan Films is ... ? Also, Locke ... Ok, his wife didn't die, but she did die, there wasn't loss of life, but there was? Whoever came up with that backstory needs to do a good editing job on that character.
Because it isn't a fanfilm. Its audio and I thought someone like you would jump up and down and claim it was in the wrong section of the forum.
^ But that's why the Fan Films forum was renamed "Fan Productions" a week or two ago: to cater for different types of fan-produced media. Nobody would have jumped up and down as Fan Productions is exactly what this kind of thread is for.
Star Trek The Continuing Mission is non profit and will not be making any money, and therefore we are all (including the talent) working as volunteers. This keep CBS/Paramount happy as we are using their copyrighted material. The programme will recorded on the talent's PC and or over Skype under the direction of the episode.
