Ever since I was in 4th grade, I've had this idea. I actually had a dozen or so stories of it written down as a kid, and every afternoon I would read the story on my elementary school's news broadcast, recorded for the next morning. The general story is simple enough: It is the end of the twentieth century. Cairo is a young swashbuckling Golden Retriever who goes off in search of adventures and lost treasure. His boss is the greedy bulldog Scratch, who eventually serves as the sidekick for Cairo in his later adventures. In the pilot episode linked above, Cairo stumbles upon the legendary Pandora's Box, although Scratch refuses to believe it is the genuine article, and fires Cairo for being so naive. Late that same night, a sinister figure arrives who reveals the true nature of the box.
