Anyone else bothered by noisy ads? Maybe it's just a bit of mild paranoia and learning how to use my Mac better, but sometimes it makes me uncomfortable. I was downloading some wallpapers from a favorite site and wondering if that's all it is.

Well, apart from sites I regularly visit like TrekBBS, any unknown website automatically has it's ads blocked, so I wouldn't know. Usually, they recieve money per click, not per view, and since I never click on *any* advertising anyway... especially noisy ones. I don't know why they keep on doing it.
Yes, they annoy me immensely. I will NEVER patronize a buisness that utilizes them.
