What is known about Nog's mother? How did Rom manage to knock up someone? It would have been interesting if someone showed up claiming to be Quark's kid.

What is known about Nog's mother? How did Rom manage to knock up someone? It would have been interesting if someone showed up claiming to be Quark's kid.

From the show, there are few details - Rom signed a marriage contract with Prinadora's father, fathered Nog, got hosed by his new father-in-law & wound up on the station with Quark durin' the Cardassian Occupation.

Worlds of Deep Space Nine, Volume Three - Ferenginar goes into a lot more detail, and even has Nog reunited with his grandfather & mother.
