Or lets even go so far as to ignore Voyager and think about the primitive little NX-01. We know that it went way, way low atmosphere in at least one episode... The second space Nazi episode where they were flying around at building level. Now, if the NX can handle those sorts of strains, why can't a ship from 100 + year in the future?I haven't read this whole thread, as I don't need a migraine, but in regards to a starship surviving in earth's atmosphere, I cite this:
