I don't understand this... They recently have released new versions of all the original movies on dvd and blu ray right? And i have gotten all of them except for VI... Simply because for some reason, no where even seems to have it? Like literally, it is not in any store along with the others, they all have I - V and only even have labels there for I - V... Even on ONLINE stores they just don't even have it listed there? It's like it doesn't even exist?

I mean seriously, if i can't get this to go along with my collection i'm going to be annoyed >.<

Oh yeah i should have said, they have the box sets of all the movies, and it's included in there... But nowhere seems to have it seperately.

Ring Paramount Home Video, Sydney, and they'll tell you if it's available.

Okay, I found the new DVDs today myself. Numerous stores. They all have newly recorded commentaries. I love commentaries! New extras, too. Well worth the price! Less than $AU 15.00 each!

The new TOS movies boxed set has seven slimline discs, including ST VI, and with a special hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, interviewing Shatner, Nimoy, Stewart and Frakes together.

It seems ST VI hasn't been released individually yet. Probably because releasing five movies at once allows them to release another batch of five (ie. ST VI to "Nemesis") in a short while. It also steers a few impatient people - and cherry-pickers - over to the reasonably-priced first boxed set.

Yeah i had a look around on various websites and they say that only the first five are available individually...

So i'm hoping they release VI soon then. I didn't really want to buy the boxed set because... Well, i dunno. It seemed a bit expensive at the time but now that i think about it i should have just got it =/ Oh well, hopefully VI will come soon.

Going to watch Search for Spock now, thanks for the reply Set my mind at east a bit lol, i thought i was going crazy.

Oh, also, since you saw the dvds, i might as well ask... Did you notice that on the back of them they have like a quote from the movie... Well, on the back of Star Trek III, the quote says "e careful what you wish for" - Uhura.

Was that supposed to say BE careful what you wish for? Seems like a pretty big thing to overlook a typo on heh.

The individual movies are selling at approx $16 each, but the boxed set was $99 (at JB HiFi), so for an extra $4 you get the extra interview disc and no wait for ST VI.

Yeah i just didn't want to buy them all at the same time, as i didn't have that much money on me at the time... So i bought the first two, watched them, loved them, then bought the rest up to 5... Now i want VI >.<.

Ah well, i can wait. I still have season 2 and 3 of TOS to watch, and i can jump into TNG also.
