I wanted to start this thread to see if their are any other Canadians suffering from the loss of their backlog of old star trek due to the new dns code policies Netflix enforced. For any Americans reading this who are unaware, canadian Netflix content is very different from American Netflix due to international copyright laws. And unfortunately for Canadians, being that the population density of America is much higher, therefore providing far more subscribers, American Netflix has far, far more programming then it's canadian counterpart. [Content removed.] This bums me out especially since canadian Netflix only has the TNG movies on it as of this posting. we also have a service called SHOMI which at least has the original series and TNG, but lacks voy and ds9. I've heard crave has more selection as to Star trek, but it's hardly supported on alot of platforms as of yet. I managed to get through my star trek run while American Netflix was still easily accessible in canada, but in a world where physical media, especially of older shows, is getting harder and harder to find, I worry about how new Canadian trekkies will find a way to see these programs.
