Hey...I thought a new episode was going to be on MAY 1..but it seems to have been bumped to next week...and for SPYKIDS? Come on cartoon network..WTF??

Why wouldn't they? Most TV networks, especially on cable, have given up on the traditional model of premiering all shows at the same time. These days, the preference is to stagger the premiere dates of various shows so that there's some new material airing throughout the year, or nearly so.
Surely they threaten to loose viewership if Bats is just airing by itself in a vacuum, just the way that when a single new sitcom airs in a block of reruns it does half its normal audience. I haven't seen numbers beyond the premiere but I believe that Clone Wars is Cartoon Network's number one show by a far distance.
It's not airing by itself in a vacuum. It's airing at 8:30 following a new episode of The Secret Saturdays at 8:00.
Besides, generally, kids are more interested in watching reruns than adults are. That's why kids' shows traditionally have so many more reruns. So the Clone Wars and Ben 10: Alien Force reruns at 9:00 and 9:30 probably help draw in viewers to some extent.
