$199 seems a lot more reasonable. Good luck selling a $250-300 handheld.
Yeah, if it follows the usual pattern and it is $300 or so then regardless of exchange rate it'll end up being around £300, and at that price they can get fucked. I didn't pay it for the PS3 and I'm not paying it for a handheld.
Yeah, although they tend to gouge a bit in Japan so the thinking is that it'll come in at 249... still, a bit pricey for me despite the novelty.
I think the 3D feature will prove to be about as much of a novelty as the touchscreen--a nice addition that will be used well by some games, used poorly by others, and not used at all by a fair number.
