The CW has picked up the “back 9″ orders for freshman Nikita and Hellcats, as well as the veteran One Tree Hill. They will each now have 22 episode seasons.

No surprise at all to those following our CW Renew / Cancel posts. They have all had virtually the same adults 18-49 ratings for the past month, all near the CW median.

Meanwhile, Supernatural and Vampire Diaries already have full seasons. Smallville also will be ending.

It's going to be interesting to see how well the CW's schedule does once they finally have to get rid of their WB holdovers. One Tree Hill can't have much life left in it, and Supernatural might be able to eke out a seventh season, but I can't see it living much past that.

I like Hellcats. :) I really wish Life UneXpected was doing better. :sigh:

Anyone watching Nikita? I saw the first episode but have missed the others and was wondering if it was worth checking out.

I'm enjoying it a lot (as is my girlfriend). Aside from the obvious "babe factor" there is a compelling storyline and some really well done action scenes. At the end of each episode I'm already looking forward to the next episode (something I'm not feeling on a lot of shows nowadays).

It's not groundbreaking or anything like that but it's enjoyable enough to watch every week. It's got nice eye candy too. Maggie Q and Lyndsy Fonseca...yum.

The only thing it has going for it is Maggie Q. I might like the show better if I hadn't seen this same sort of premise and same tired stories before but like so many tv shows in the last several years it has a "been there done that, been there done that better" problem that caused me to drop it after 3 episodes.
