NFL/TV star Merlin Olsen RIP

CNN is reporting Merlin Olsen, the NFL great who later became a TV icon in roles like Father Murphy, has died at the age of 69.

Someone told me that he was the father of Susan Olsen of The Brady Bunch fame (Cindy Brady). That seemed logical and I was like "wow I never knew that!". Turns out I never knew it 'cause it ain't true. Grrrr!

I only knew him from football, as I was never a fan of Little House or anything else he was on.
