Lawrence of Jagland gets his ass kicked by the Texans. LOL

We'll find out next week if the Texans are really any good when they play Cleveland. Jaguars were sloppy today on both sides of the ball.

The NFL is trying to get in on the MLB's act of random stats... Russell Wilson is the first QB to throw 4 TDs on consecutive season openers.

Nice win for my Rams tonight.

A few things to work on going forward, but a solid effort all around.

The entire NFC North is 0-1. Great start for the Bears, getting rolled almost as bad as the Packers.

I didn't stay up for the Bears game, so I can't say where the problems are, but maybe it's Fields time now?

Montgomery had 108 rushing yards, so he's "on".

Colts lost - but Wentz was probably the least of their problems. The offensive line was a mess. It won’t get any easier with the Rams coming to town next week.

Dolphins win, but Tagovailoa still looks pedestrian.

The entire NFC West is 1-0.

As for the Bears, the main problem was pass defense. The Rams scored two TD's on long bombs. Stafford didn't have to worry much in the pocket (I think he was sacked once).

Honestly I don't know if Fields would have made a difference. Maybe. Dalton took what the Rams gave him. He also had two turnovers (one pick, one fumble).

OK yeah, we have an almost brand new secondary. I can see that being a big ?

NFC East 0-1 except Philadelphia. Par for the course... :sigh:

Against the Falcons. I have no rotator cuff left in my shoulder and I would probably look decent against Atlanta’s defense.

Yep. :( IR'ing the QB1 on game 1, albeit for an obviously good reason, is never a good sign.

    Oh, well... Maybe next season...

Maybe they’ll rally behind Heinicke? He looked fairly decent for coming off of the bench.

Heinicke can sling it, and it’s not like Fitzpatrick was an All-Pro. If their defense remains strong, Washington should be okay.

Playing the Giants on Thursday; how’s that for a get-right game?

Yeah, that one makes me nervous. Giants were playing pretty well against Denver, at least in the beginning. Then things started falling off the apple cart for them, so I'm thinking it's likely to be a battle of the mediocre (sorry, it's just my default state after all these years), but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised this coming Thursday.

Be it by one point or by 100 points I like beating the Patriots - particularly in Disposable Razor Stadium.
The Dolphins have some flashes of greatness, and that D is excellent. But the offense feels lost, to say the least - here's hoping they find themselves soon.

Side Note: Mac Jones is a baller, and will be a star for a very long time.

I have a feeling Buffalo is going to come into Miami in "HULK SMASH!!!" mode this weekend after falling apart against the Steelers.

Nearly half of those 108 yards came from a 41-yard run, though.

The biggest problem was, as I was saying all offseason, is that the offensive line is just terrible. Jason Peters didn't even last two quarters before his leg decided to say "nope" and he was out for the game. Dalton did his best (even showed some decent scrambling), but he had guys in his face all night long, resulting in the offense consisting of largely dink-and-dunk shit. He didn't complete a pass in the air for more than ten yards, largely because he never had time for the runners to actually do their routes.
