- The Forsaken
- Dramatis Personae
- Duet
Duet one of the best, in Trek
This show deserves a lot better than to be aired at 2 in the morning.![]()

Still, I gotta feeling this will be its last run on Spike and will transfer over to SCI-FI (like TNG) and they already ENT running. Spike can keep Voyager.
Not everybody has $200 to drop on some DVDs.Just buy the show on DVD.

Here in the UK, thanks to the fact that the rights have transferred from Sky to Virgin One they're making a big deal out of the show. Episodes in an early evening timeslot every day, repeats of those episodes on Saturday afternoons and they're actually advertising it!
Virgin One are gradually getting the rights to TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise. Sky One still seem to be padding out their schedules with the little bits of Enterprise they've got left, though.
I don't mind The Forsaken... it's an average episode, nothing too offensive.
It is another one of those episodes, common in the first two seasons, that seems to say, "look we can still do TNG stories!"
I really like Dramatis Personae. Brooks' performance here isn't quite on par with his portrayal of Dr Noah, but it is very entertaining.

Agreed. In fact, both Avery Brooks' and Nana Visitor's performances almost feel like a warmup for their mirror-universe counterparts - retroactively speaking, that is.
I still haven't forgiven Virgin1 for suddenly ending DS9's weeknight run in March. They got to the season 5 finale and just stopped... Only having freeview, I don't have many options of when I watch DS9, so I ended up getting the slimline DVDs. Well worth the £30 for seasons 6 and 7 when it meant I didn't have to see that promo for The Unit for the 837th time![]()
