Next Star Trek Movie Cancelled?

My sister told me tonight that last week she saw something on the news about the next Star Trek movie being cancelled. She said that one of the actors was dropping out for some reason (maybe Zachary Quinto) and that that was why they were cancelling the movie. Has anyone else heard this? I couldn't find anything on the internet about it. Perhaps the news channel that she was watching was confused (she doesn't remember which channel she was watching). Maybe the station thought that the fact that Leonard Nimoy is sick means that the next Trek movie is cancelled (even though Abram's movies are reboots and Nimoy only played a small role in them... at least in the second one).

I doubt they would cancel a franchise movie over a single actor dropping out. They'd simply replace the actor.

Rest assured, if the movie were cancelled, or indeed any announcement regarding the movie were made at all, this forum would be flooded with threads related to it making it unnecessary for you to ask this question.

Not to say there's anything wrong with asking the question. This is after all a forum for discussion and you started a topic for discussion. But any significant news related to the movie is more likely to be posted here than whatever bogus sources your sister is citing.
