Hot on the heels of the release of Creative Couplings, I'm pleased to announce that the eleventh Corps of Engineers print compilation has been scheduled for October 2008 release. Entitled Wounds, it will include the eBooks originally released in 2005 as S.C.E. #50-56.

    The titles include:
    • Malefictorum by Terri Osborne
Lost Time by Ilsa J. Bick
Identity Crisis by John J. Ordover
Fables of the Prime Directive by Cory Rushton
      Security by Keith R.A. DeCandido
      Wounds by Ilsa J. Bick

DS9 fans should know that several of these stories cross over with the post-finale fiction: the da Vinci travels to the station in both Malefictorum and Lost Time, and Wounds pairs Doctors Lense and Bashir.

Edited to correct my stupid typo.

What do you mean? There's new SCE (or whatever it's called these days) every other month.

If Wounds has 50-57, does that mean that the next one will only have 58-60 and the one following that to have the What's Past miniseries?

Is the next one going to have nine books--58-66?

Or is What's Past going to be split between the last few SCE and the beginning of the CoE trades?

    Actually, that's only numbers 50-56.

    Love,
    The guy who wrote #57.

Their might have been but it still feels like a long time, since I read that book in about 3 days.

    GAH! :scream:

    It's fixed. *sigh*

And the next volume will probably be called The Cleanup, and will have only four eBooks, but will also have some other nifty stuff in it to fill it out. Then the one after that will be What's Past.

I hadn't realized this. Where exactly do they fall in the DS9 saga?

Oh, okay, so all the stories previously published under the S.C.E. moniker are being/will be reprinted now that the series has become Corps of Engineers?

I was going to start a new thread asking about this, but I figured that'd just clutter things up, better to just ask here. :)

^ Basically, we rebranded the series in late 2006. So everything published from fall 2006 onward, whether in eBook or print form, took on the new title Corps of Engineers, starting with Turn the Page in pixel form and with Aftermath in dead-tree form. :)

Yeah, I already knew about the rebranding, I've just been considering getting into the series and wanted to make sure the old stories were being reprinted. I don't want half of my books to say S.C.E. and the other half to say Corps of Engineers. I'm OCD about stuff like that. :p

    Thanks!

They'll all still say "Star Trek" on them, so does it matter?

If you want to buy a book about Worf, do you leave it at the store because it says "Deep Space 9" when he was in TNG too?

Do you leave Q-and-A at the store because it uses a different font from the old Survivors era?

Did you remember to send me that nice large check in the mail? I've been looking for it. ;)
