New watch, or just new batteries?

I have a Kenneth Cole stainless steel watch. I paid about $100 for it about 10 years ago. I love this watch. It is my absolute favorite. I wear it everyday and for all occasions, except the dressiest. I have a Fossil sterling silver bracelet watch for those occasions. My KC looks good, keeps great time, and has a really tough crystal (I'm a klutz and have banged it plenty of times without damage). I used to be in the "if the watch needed a battery, I bought a new watch" camp, so I have lots of watches. But they are all tucked away in my jewelry box, ignored in favor of my KC.

Since you like the silver tone of yours, check out Skagen stainless steel watches. They're very thin and sleek and a little over $100. I've had mine for about 10 years. Also have a Citizen solar-powered watch (about $200, but it never needs batteries -- a couple hours in the sun powers it for months). It's kind of a shame, I have two nice watches, but I rarely wear them anymore because I always have my phone w/ me.
