new Trek Site Help wanted

Hi there fellow crew mates. I am the head of a dedicated group of fans from a small place on the third planet of the sol system.

at one of our discussions we all said that while there are many websites there is not one definitive be all and end all star trek site where we can have forums but not only that but also have endless amounts of trek knowledge and data held in our memory banks. what we really wanted to create was the one star trek fans dream site that had everything from pictures of all vessels to technical guides RPG utils and the lot practically everything that is start trek.

the only problem is that we need help and lots of it. we currently have good idea of what we want and know that many of you out there want the same so we would like help from all of u. and of course as a reward you will all get honourary ranks and be given commands etc. we aim to make a united federation of star trek fans.

the idea would be to have a similar structure to the federation and really just have some trek fun.

i have loads of ideas and the will to do them the site structure and concept is amazing i have designed a huge flowchart for it and i will be willing to share it with anyone interested.

Please help out and be part of this trek vision

Here's my contribution to your site, You'll find a tonne of stuff including both Trek & non-Trek youtube videos clips, photomanipulations, Trek & non-Trek MP3's, links to "Star Trek: Hell's-Gate"-related Yahoo Groups with even further resources in the links areas of each site.

If you want to work on creating the *ultimate* Trek site, why not contribute there?

^^^ I agree. Having an end all be all Trek site seems like an unrealistic goal when we already have memory alpha and so many, many other sites. I'd recommend specializing in something and being the best site for that specialty. If you want to get on search engines, a blog is really, really helpful and useful.

Tiberius: I don't think that was the goal. I think GibTrek was hoping to make a simple e-zine style website with up-to-date (Actor & CG) references to the new Trek movie, "Star Trek: Titan" & shatnerverse novels, etc. Plus a section for information sources, such as Memory Alpha & the other available Wiki sites throughout the internet.
