New TOS sets

I was thinking of ordering the box set of all three seasons, with the new effects. Will all three seasons work on a standard dvd player?

Yup, they sure will.

I think the only one you'd have a problem with is the Season 1 DVDs because they were produced on the now (as far as I know) disused HDDVDs. However those are double sided with Standard Definition on the other side and that will play in regular players. Seasons 2 and 3 are both Standard Definition DVDs and those will work fine on the regular players.

So, in a nutshell, you'll be fine.

I don't know. That is why I ordered the originals first and now order the new ones
