New Ships Books

Not really novel related, but definitely book related. I've always been a big starship fan. The ships are some of my favorite characters!

Anyway, I digress. I just happened to be looking at upcoming books, using some of my regular book searches, and was surprised to see a couple of upcoming Star Trek titles from Eaglemoss coming in September and November. They look pretty intriguing. At least the first one looks to also be available with a collectible. I'm sure it will be one of the ships from Eaglemoss' collection. I think the text is based on the information that comes with the ships from their collection.

Well, for someone like me that doesn't collect the Eaglemoss ships, this is pretty neat!!

I don't collect the ships either, so this could be a nice way to get the information that comes with the models without having to get the models.

Looks interesting. I wonder if it'll be a repackaging of the content they put into the "Designing Starships" hardcovers they sell as part of their starship miniatures line.

My guess would be that they are a collection of the ship magazines that come with the individual ship models, but repackaged together as a hardback.

I collected about 15 of the ships before realizing I was spending an enormous amount of money on them (even when I had lowered my subscription to one ship every 3 months) paying for ships that I didn't even want. It made more sense to buy the ships full price and only purchase the ones I really wanted rather than saving on each ship, but buying a bunch I didn't even want. That subscription plan is like crack... even right now I'm thinking about signing back up.

Probably just the info that comes with the ships. But since it's a bigger book, it might have extra stuff.
