They've announced that Narrativia, the production company started by Terry Pratchett, has made a new deal with Envevour Content and Motive Pictures for a new series of "truly authentic" Discworld adaptations that will be "prestige adaptations that remain absolutely faithful" to the books.
It sounds like this will be separate from The Watch series that's already in production.
I can't help but wonder if the emphasis on how closely they'll stick to the books is a reaction to the response that the first pictures from The Watch got.
I wonder where they'll start? Since we've already gotten Rincewind, Death, and Moist, in the miniseries, and The City Watch is probably out because of that series, I'm hoping for one of the Witches books for the first adaptation.
