New Pushing Daisies Tonight!

If you have a Tivo or DVR, please set it to record. It's on at 8 PM on ABC, and up to this point they still have not made a decision as to whether or not to renew it for a 3rd season. Every viewer counts, and Tivo and DVRs both factor into the overall ratings numbers.

Word is they'll be watching the numbers closely for the next two weeks before they make a decision, so please pass word around to anyone you know that has a TIVO and DVR if youre a fan of the show. :)

I won't be watching, I rather watch Bones, but I don't have a Tivo or anything anyways. If I had a Tivo I would definetly be watching it at some point. Crazy ass show. :)

And we aren't talking about a third season pick-up, that's never going to happen. Right now the show just needs to get a full 22 episode season because the 13th episode (most likely the series finale) is a cliff hanger.

If the show gets the order for the remainder of the episodes to round out to a full 22, that's a good sign for renewal for a 3rd season. Heck, even if they go the route of the Closer and have only 13 episodes a season, I'd be happy with that too if it meant the show got to go on.

I Tivo Bones, but as they're on at the same time and I know Bones will still be around, I swtiched it to record Daisies tonight. This show is too quirky and original to fade away.

I don't have or know anyone with a Tivo or I would. I definitely hope they at least order another 9 episodes to wrap things up adequately. I never saw Pushing Daisies as a show that would last more than a few seasons.

TiVOs and DVRs only count for product placements, which wouldn't work with PD. :( Don't have em anyway, just my un-networked (and I like it that way!) VCR.

I had this thought... not sure if it would work or not... episodes of the second season of PD are available on Amazon.com for $1.99 a pop. I wonder if those purchases are taken into account by ABC? I plan on buying the second season on DVD when it comes out... but I'm willing to spend a little money now to help ensure it's a full second season.

crando,

I do believe the revenue info gets reported to or noted by ABC from online sales of the episodes like that. Not sure how things like that factor into their decision making, but I figure every little bit helps.
