Hopefully it won't be the same old routine of Rose or Martha drooling over the Doctor. Adding another person for a "love triangle"... meh. Impossible to say, since much was said over "if Donna remembers the Doctor, she dies." They had as much narrative depth as "canon is rupturing" and the new Isaac Newton, whose scene was so much for little that it's an anticlimax after Chris Chibnall's far more interesting use of historical figures in the show reinvigorated the trope...
The Valeyard is allegedly the big bad. Apparently, Ncuti's Doctor regenerates into him. Okay, that's lovely, but why the urge to bring back obscure characters after all the time and effort to have the new era be almost completely distinct from all the "baggage"?
