I was thinking the other day, wouldn't it be cool if Star Trek XI was just the first episode of season 4? Or, a la Grindhouse, the first 2 episodes of a fourth season? I know that's not what's supposed to be in store for us, but I just pictured myself sitting down in a darkened theater and the first act teaser begins with no credits and then the the original theme starts playing with a faithful re-creation of the opening credits.
