New movie and TV Show Enterprise

I find it ironically amusing in a sadistic way to point out that with the new movie, the only television show that can now be considered as "mostly canon" is Enterprise.

I find it ironically amusing in a sadistic way to point out that with the new movie, the only television show that can now be considered as "mostly canon" is Enterprise.

They're all canon.

That said, it's true that the only series which is somewhat established in the film as having occurred in the "new past" is possibly Star Trek Enterprise. I get a kick out of that too - and hey, all of the old complaints that Archer's era looked "too advanced" to be a century before Kirk's era are now null and void.

Aye, they are all canon. I may not have stated that quite the way I meant it -- but hopefully the spirit of what I meant was understood.

I wanted to hate the movie going in, but found I could not. I liked it. I wish they'd done a complete reboot using the formula than the tired time travel cliche, but I do understand it's necessity.

I was happy with this film despite what my heart wanted to feel going in.

Well a lot of the time travel episodes are still partially canon, since characters went back in time to before the timeline split.
