Hi all!
Some of you may have already noticed this, as it was set up earlier in the week, but I just wanted to let you know that I have been added as a moderator for the Trek Lit forum, in light of trampledamage recently stepping away from the role.
I think we can all agree that trampledamage was a wonderful moderator, and handled the forum really well. One of my primary motivations in taking on the new position, is that I hope to keep things going in much the same manner as they were under trampledamage. There are some cases where we have historically handled certain things differently than the rest of the board does, so I thought it would be good for someone who was already familiar with the culture here to take on the role.
Of course, we are different people, so that means I might not handle every situation that comes up in exactly the same way trampledamage would have. However, if you ever have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to me at any time.
I've been a reader and a poster in this forum for a long while, so I know that this is a great community. You can all be proud of what you've built here. I hope that I am able to live up to the standards that this community has set.
I'm looking forward to working as your moderator, as well as continuing to enjoy the forum as a fan of Trek Literature!
