New Flash Gordon Comic Book Series coming from Dynamite

IGN ran a story yesterday announcing that Dynamite Entertainment is going to be coming out with a new Flash Gordon series, or miniseries, I'm not entirely sure which it is. I love the Flash Gordon movie from the '80s, and the couple of serial episodes I saw were enjoyable, so if this comes to comixology I will definitely be checking it out. If not I still might check out the TPB(s).
The Ming/Hitler imagery in the cover art has me very curious what this is going to be about exactly.

I thought those were really bold and colorful, this new series looks dull by comparison.

I'm still hoping Dynamite Entertainment continues their "Buck Rogers" comic. I thought the re-imagining of that franchise was excellent. Scott Beatty wrote the first year's worth of issues and an annual was released a couple of months ago. The original story that Beatty wrote ended in a cliffhanger which was disappointing and it wasn't really continued or addressed in the annual.

As for the "Flash Gordon" book. I'll check it out. If it is as good as their Buck comic was I will probably enjoy it.

Well, based on the cover images, this looks a lot better than the recent series, which was awful. I might give it a try. It's been a long time since there's been any good Flash.
