NEW eonline article-ANOTHER Spock's Vulcan Mother rerference

In a brand new article by eonline.com about the delay of Star Trek until 2009, the author mentions that Winona Ryder will be Spock's VULCAN mother. I would normally just say it is a mistake, like the Novermber 'comingsoon.com' article that said the same thing, but this writer went on to specifically say this was a "twist on the original".

I have the feeling that this writer probably doesn't know what she's talking about, and she perhaps used the 'comingsoon.com' article as her source for this erroneous information; however I thought you all would want to see this.

^^Thanks, Polaris. That's exactly what I suspected.

I wish these online article writers would start getting their information from actual sources, rather than other entertainment articles.

so....

Amanda Grayson is STILL human...
...and Generalismo Francisco Franco is STILL dead.

Re: NEW eonline article-ANOTHER Spock's Vulcan Mother rerfer

I suppose that since she married a Vulcan, and probably spent most of her married life on Vulcan, that she could be a citizen of Vulcan.

So I guess technically she could be a Vulcan.

You know, on paper. :)

Still dead... FOR NOW. Why do think the Romulans are travelling back in time? To prevent Franco's death, of course!

I can now reveal that I have learned that Leonard Nimoy is not the only actor returning to the role of Spock in the new film. Chevy Chase will also be appearing as Older Than Young Spock But Younger Than Old Spock Spock. Unfortunately, the producers haven't been able to work in an appearance by John Belushi as Kirk. They claim it's because Belushi died in 1982, but with the delay in the film's release I'm sure they'll find a way around it.

Re: NEW eonline article-ANOTHER Spock's MILF reference

"Vulcan mother?" Again? They really need to come up with new material. Like "Spock's VIRGIN mother." That's an oldie but a goodie.

They're getting Shatner to play Belushi.

Grayson became a "naturalized vulcan", maybe? It worked for Craig Furgeson, anyway. :)

Re: NEW eonline article-ANOTHER Spock's Vulcan Mother rerfer

First off, I'm as straight as they come, but after reading all the comments on that "trekmovie.com" site, I have *got* to go looking for old pictures of Winona Ryder. I just do not remember her boobs being that big...like in that movie with Cher and Bob what's-his-name (Hoskins?)...But...on the other hand...if it will bring more non-Trek fans into the fold...hm-m-m. I must meditate on this. <wicked grin>

Ah-ha! Filmography research. Someone kindly dated a picture of Miss Ryder "1917"...She was being escorted by a nicely build Black man at a formal gathering. Voila',the next piture, her new chest debuted. Sometime between "Dracula" and "The Age of Innocence" and 2000, she was "enhanced." With a face like hers, it's a pity, but hey, in Hollywood you gotta do, what you gotta do.

Re: NEW eonline article-ANOTHER Spock's Vulcan Mother rerfer

I suspect its down to poor research on the part of eonline, its not the BBC you know
