If you're in Newton, MA you should check this place out for their Trek Books. It's only a couple of shelves, but they have in new condition new titles and those going back to the beginning (Ballantine).
I note it because I was able to get The Empty Chair there, new, for a fraction off the cover price, instead of the ridiculous Amazon price. I noticed a few of the just-out-of-print titles.
The place is HUGE by the way.
