New DSC Enterprise rendered in Rhino3D

I have tried to render the new DSC Enterprise in Rhino3D. I used the free neon render plugin.

The brilliant model was made by Facebook, 3D modeler Chris Kuhn.

Thought I'd be able to embed images here from FlickR, but cant seem to make that work. Rhino3D can be downloaded for free - but you are limited to 30 saves. The renderer uses ray-tracing, but doesn't seem to support Rhino's lights. So the lights on the ship aren't casting onto the hull. I've faked it with the sun and a space background that I got off the internet. Not perfect, but I think it comes out OK.

Couldn't sort the lighting - reflections and diffuse lights out in Rhino3D. I used the Polarr app to fake it using brushes and radial blurs. Hopefully, this looks more photo-real.

Worked out how to use an HDRI map and so reflections on the hull can be seen. I made the warp engine highly reflective - if you zoom in, you can see the galaxy background map reflected in it.

This render uses some additional light sources (space is too dark!). It's supposed to have a TWOK colour scheme.
