Trophy Wife.

Unbelievable cast, not funny. Meh. Young Malin Akerman marries Josh from the West wing, inheriting his many children and several ex-wives as an extended family... The liquid sex lady from the News Room plays one of the exwives, I'm beginning to quite enjoy her company, but Trophy Wife is still not funny despite trying really hard to do all the obvious things a lot of other bad comedies already did decades ago.
Upper Middle Bogan

Australian comedy about an adopted 40 something swanky high society moneybags (hypochondriac) Doctor discovering she is in truth the progeny of hillbilly motorheads. Social schisms evolve as the two families integrate. I like it.
It's a Date

Comedy with no discernible continuity. A series of vinaigrettes focussing on different aspects of dating following a theme each week. Clever and funny, using the a-crop of recognisable Australian TV actors briefly removed from their usual "hit" shows.

Maggie Lawson is dreamy (and she had more lines here in 20 minutes than she did in the last two seasons of Psych.). Maggie plays a former jock, coaching her kids baseball team to smooth over the rough edges of his upbringing after a divorce from her ape husband forcing her to move in with her ape father. James Caan (A grouchier version of Archie Bunker.) reminded me of Stacey Keach from Titus, an emotionally mentally abusive/abrasive human being left to raise a child like a pet. So funny.
Welcome to the Family

Teen pregnancy, where the grandparents don't get along dealing with their children's ridiculous attempts "to do the right thing". Nothing new here, but whenever I see Mary McCormack I expect someone to get punched in the face eventually. This one could be a drama, Yawn.
Chickens

Two of the blokes from the inbetweeners (plus one) as the only men in a small English village who did not chose to attend the first world war. They are pariah's and it's hilarious watching the women left behind try to destroy these three literally and psychologically, one who couldn't pass the medical, a conscientious objector and a moron/coward.

Just awful. The Odd Couple with two 60 year posh English ladies trying to pull the 5th Doctor Who and calamity follows.

This is free on hulu for yanks. Delightfully vulgar comedy set in cowboy times about a Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarvard educated ponce lawyer turned frontier gunslinger. The first episode is a little rough, but I've really come to enjoy this one.

Canadian comedy about flatting, a couple on the marriage track, living with a reprobate loser manchild shirking all responsibility to comical effect. Could have been made in the 90s, so it's more familiar and comfortable than clever, but there are so many enjoyable face palm moments when the male leads are just so incredibly wrong they should be shot. The female lead has really nice hair. Seriously, not a euphimism, it's stunning, and there's just so much of it.

You remember the Wonder Years? This is THAT verbatim all over again, but now set in the 80s. Wendi McLendon-Covey plays the smothering mother and I am drawn to her. The comedy revolves around a dysfunctionally average/normal family trying to do normal things the hardest way possible in front of a back drop of big hair, shoulder pads and MTV while being narrated by the 40 year old future self of the ten year old male lead. More slice of life than comedy but still quite satisfying.
