New and Improved POST YOUR PET PICTURES Thread

Yeoman Randi

Vice Admiral
Admiral
The old "Post Your Pet" picture thread has been dead for a while now and it's probably better left dead than resurrecting it since it was now past the maximum length allowed by law...

To start, im posting this wonderful video (my dogs are not in it)...but it's just GREAT!

And then, here's a new pic of one of my little knuckleheads...Dora

Our 3-year-old Golden Retriever, Marley, who's afraid of water, waterfowl, and has no clue about the concept of retrieving:

We love him anyway. :)

Toby, posing for his close-up. He is almost 5 years old now; we got him when he was 2.

Awesome! I love you Randi! And it's Helena's 'observed' birthday today. (Her real one was yesterday, but I got home from class after 10 PM...)

We've got dog class tonight, and she's getting dog ice cream (aka non-lactose) and a new nylabone from the pet shop where class is.

Yeah, that's real drool.

I think my head just exploded from seeing Sophia as a puppy on the couch!!!!!

Happy belated birthday to Helena!! (BTW, Smoothie, i love you too.)

So, last night we had a thunderstorm and Zoe is a big chicken. She just goes crazy, huffing and puffing and barking and running around the house. So i pulled out one of the huge rawhide bones i only give to her when i need for her to mellow. Anyway, when we went to bed i forgot to put the bone away. So this morning she goes into the living room and finds the bone still on the chair. However, because the pillows were a bit askew she was afraid to jump up onto the chair. So she just sat there, staring at the bone with her laser beam eyes. I think she must have been there for a good 20 minutes before i came into the room and found her there. She can be pretty intense at times....

And here's Dora the other night, on the couch wrapped up in her widdle bwankie.

My Louis goes nuts during thunderstorms too. He whines like a chimp and so I give him his favorite ball and then he sounds funnier because he'll have that in his mouth and still whine.

^ Sometimes Dora barks with a toy in her mouth. It sort of muffles the bark which is a good thing b/c her bark is extremely high pitched and can cause glass to shatter.

YAY! Love the pet pic threads Love seeing everyone's furry kids. Captain Calhoun, I'm so sorry for your loss. We went through it a couple years ago with our two kitties, too, and I know how it feels.

Here are a couple of recent ones of our boys (though they're a couple months old so I may have posted them before.) I'll try to come up with some newer ones.

Both our boys in the yard on a warm summer day:
