What are the Zoners reading? I'm curious. I've three going...
Song of Susannah, 6th book in the Dark Tower saga from Stephen King. Just started.
Cosmos, Carl Sagan.
Peace Be With you-Monastic Wisdom for a Terror-Filled World-David Carleson
The latter two are especially interesting, as they are filled with concern over the global troubles of their days, yet speak of a serenity from within. Yes, I know that Carl Sagan was an avowed atheist. But in his writing and narration, he did seem to hear "the music of the spheres" that Einstein spoke of. There is a spirituality is science, if you are open to it. Einstein saw it, Sagan...I don't know if he saw it...but I'm convinced he felt it.
But that's how I see it, my own interpretation.
But yes, these two books feature men coming from very different perspectives and viewing from different points in world history, yet seeking that peace within and the hope for peace without.
But enough. What are you reading?
And this is meant for the Neutral Zone. Could a kind moderator move it there? Apologies.
