Netflix Investigating Bringing Back "Jericho"

Of course one interesting consideration, should Netflix pick up the show - where do they start?

Given that a number of the writers of the show were actually responsible for the 'Season 3' graphic novel, and will presumably be contributing to the 'Season 4' one as well - how canon are those going to be treated? Would any new televised continuation pick up from where Season 2 left off, or where the 'Season 4' graphic novel finishes? I think common sense is going to demand that they pick up from Season 2, as many people are most likely unaware of the graphic novels anyway.

I think you're right, which then leads into the next question - would season 3 follow the same direction as the 'Season 3' graphic novel, or go its own way.

Ordinarily I'd have said that they'd obviously go their own way, but given that some of the writers were involved with the novel, who knows?!

I read something that said the writers were going to draw on the comics and probably that they were involved in writing the comics...

Of all the reports carrying the news that Netflix were looking at Jericho, this bit from one of them amused me;

Recently, the producers of Terra Nova, a Fox dinosaur adventure serial, approached Netflix to see if they would be interested in producing their cancelled show, but the cost of production for Terra Nova was simply too high for Netflix to take interest. Jericho, however, can be made rather cheaply. All the producers need is a few partly rundown buildings and some dusty roads.

:lol:

It's funny because it's nearly true!

I've recently started watching this show and it's good. But i had to laugh at the below part of the story. Peanuts. Good lord. Don't these people have a life? As a fan of Star Trek I never understood the passion from the 'Save Enterprise,' folks and do not get t his either.

Like Arrested fans, Jericho's are a passionate bunch: CBS renewed the post-apocalyptic show for a second season in 2007 after viewers bombarded the network with cases of peanuts.

After the season 1 final scene, CBS were lucky we didn't kidnap some people :p
