Unlike the diminutive patrol corvette(the original Tholian vessel from the TOS episode), this is one of the main warships of the Tholian Will.

In the Star Fleet Universe, the Tholians originate in another galaxy, where they once ruled with an iron fist. But they were overthrown, and scattered pockets of survivors were forced to flee as far as they could from their genocidal former servants.

One group of Tholians managed to get as far as the Milky Way galaxy before they could go no further. They arrived with only a handful of police ships and practically no real military personnel or engineers. They were forced to reverse-engineer their corvette design and modify and expand it in whatever way they could to build a fleet to defend themselves with.

The Neo-Tholians have a misleading name. They are not, in fact, new(although their ships were mistaken for new designs when they first appeared in our galaxy). They are an actual fleet of Tholian warships that arrived in our galaxy one hundred years after the frist group of Tholians arrived. That is why the Neo-Tholian ships have such a fundamentally different design from the patrol corvette and its derivitives. The patrol corvette represents the smallest and weakest ship in the Tholian arsenal, while this vessel is among the mightiest.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Great job. Very alien looking, even though you can see a similarity latout wise to Klingon designs. (Which is understandable since they basically fight like Klingons with web instead of drones. So, they'd need to have a similar weapon location layout.) I like the "ridge" protruding along the center spline, but prefer the shorter neck of the other Neo-Tholians. Real nice job though of improving the old SFB designs without changing the overall design any.
