NEMESIS: A Glimpse Into Tom Hardy's Later Movie Career...

My wife made an interesting observation. If you look at the various parts of STAR TREK NEMESIS, they are a view into the big movies Tom Hardy stars in down the road.

Shinzon's upbringing... pretty much Bane from THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.

Shinzon is a mirror of Picard, which in a lot of ways Venom is a mirror for Eddie Brock.

Shinzon was supposed to switch identities with Picard, at least that was the Romulan plan years ago... in INCEPTION, identity theft was his character's specialty.

The dune buggy scene, despite him not being in the scene... MAD MAX: FURY ROAD.

Thoughts?

Tom Hardy is EXTREMELY lucky that Nemesis didn't sink his career. Thank goodness his talent shone through in some later roles and allowed him to build a reputation. He could have been relegated to soap opera star with a flop like Nemesis.

There was nothing wrong with Hardy's performance in Nemesis. The character may have been somewhat sloppily written with questionable motives, but the acting performance was solid.

I agree. I have yet to see Tom Hardy do a bad acting job. He had a series called TABOO that was good. Still waiting on if it will return or not.
