Need some help identifying some Trek photos

So, as I've mentioned about 80 times already on here, I'm working on a Trek video project (which is almost done, thank God). Part of the video features the photo below. Just to make sure I'm using it correctly, I wanted to verify something the good people on this board who probably know way more about this stuff than I do.

Is this picture from TOS days? I know that's the original Enterprise and not the Enterprise A, but I didn't know if it was a behind-the-scenes pic from one of the first three films.

Thank you guys in advance for your help.

The TOS Enterprise never appeared in any of the first three films- from the equipment it looks to be a behind the scenes photo from the original show in the 60's.

It would really help if we could see more of the pic than just a thumbnail? It's the TOS TV series studio model of the Enterprise. The one now in the Smithsonian. But at that size can't see enough details to tell what season it is from or who is at the camera. At that size it looks more like a posed publicity shot. Also that diagonal rear support is interesting. I have never seen that in a photo before?

That's the TOS series Enterprise in the picture.

The Enterprise A from movies four through six was the same design as the refit Enterprise that appeared in the first three movies. The TOS design did not appear in those movies.

Thanks for the help guys. It's been a long time since I watch the first three films and I could've sworn the refit was interior only. Thought I had double-checked the first movie a while back to make sure the exteriors were different or the same. Must not have. My mistake. Sorry about that. Thanks for humoring me.

The photo has to date from the first season of TOS. The gentleman seated behind the camera is Linwood Dunn, whose company did optical effects work for several episodes in late 1966 and early 1967.
