Aragorn

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
During an undercover operation, Gibbs is killed. In an unrelated event, DiNozzo is burned in a fire and requires extensive plastic surgery. Because of his excellent ability to do impressions, DiNozzo has surgery to look like Gibbs in order to complete the undercover assignment.

Michael Weatherly departs NCIS. Mark Harmon takes over the role of Tony DiNozzo.

While on an undercover mission, Ziva's life is put in grave danger when the serial killer she's been tracking becomes suspicious of her.

There is a major spoiler... But where can I find out which cast member is leaving the show?

I honestly don't know. I avoid spoilers as much as possible.

do you? I go to spoilerfix on a regular basis :)

But as of today, I still haven't found out who is leaving the show! I have my suspicion given the arrival of Leon :)

Why didn't someone close Hoffman's eyes? That was creepy. This episode seemed a little off. Some of the characters seemed different.

I rated it excellent for the first 8 minutes which was outstanding.

But it was hard to watch Ziva walk around wired and nervous for the rest of the show.

The copycat was no great surprise.

It is almost a given that if you bring in a guest star in and they have dialogue that you will come back to them later.

Actors get paid more if they have speaking roles, so it makes no sense to have an actor make a couple of comments and then disappear.

I agree the episode seemed off. Ziva has killed before many times, so that wouldn't mess her up, but is this the first time she was almost killed?

Honestly, I hope the next guy doesn't miss. :p
I kind of accepted the last episode she had, with that guy who was terminal last year, but this was just so bland. The fact that the writers pushed this new boyfriend guy so hard on you as a suspect kind of made it kind of clear that he'd be innocent and that it'd be the random guy they introduced earlier.

Also, Abby has just become... annoying, to say the least. Maybe next week they'll have her walking on her hands because being upside down will give her a new perspective.
I honestly think they killed her the moment they took money from Apple and made her character hand out iPhones like candy. Because everyone who works for the government has enough money to buy iPhones for everyone in the office.

At this point, I wouldn't mind that OCD girl being promoted to full cast... at least it'd give the show a kick and change the team dynamic a bit. Right now, it's just so bland... Tony and Ziva with awkward sexual tension that makes you wish Kate was still alive, McGee as the dork, Abby as the Anne of Green Gables character and Gibbs just being grumpy all the time. I hate to say it, but maybe Harmon should have left and Bellesario should have stayed, because I think the producers/writers have lost it.

Well, I thought it was well done. Seeing Ziva like that is different, but to me that is a good thing. Ziva is no longer just a serial killer from Israel. They have done some nice character development with Officer David over the last 2 years.

I was very disappointed in this episode mainly because I didn't buy Ziva being so shaken by what happened. It was inconsistent with her character. I thought her line, "Why does everyone think all Mossad agents are assassins?" would have been great except the writers have gone to great lengths to show and tell the audience that she's a ruthless, cold-blooded trained assassin in Mossad! I'm so glad they didn't kill Ziva off this episode because I would have felt like that was a giant FU to the audience. (Yes, I'm apparently one of the few people who likes Ziva. :p)

There isn't anyone in that cast that I don't like. I like the germophobe and the Director the least, maybe. I don't care what the mystery/murder of the week is, as much as I like the interaction of the characters. The show has shown Ziva to be more than just her Mossad training before this episode. When Abby remarked that Ziva was cold and unfeeling, she had to admit she was wrong. Ziva reacted badly to nearly being killed because she felt she was off her game and hesitated which she wouldn't have done in the past.
