The team needs to use other resources when an attempted robbery leads to the death of a Lieutenant and the entire city suffers a major blackout.

The team investigates the murder of a Marine, while Hetty is away at Senate hearings. This investigation leads them to a militia group and stolen missiles.

NCIS was pretty fun tonight, I thought. Loved the stereotypical TV tropes at the end. You're not using a computer in TV Land unless you're typing madly on your keyboard, and turning off a monitor turns the entire computer off.

Well given over the years I've dealt with people who thought turning the monitor off turned the computer I'm not sure it's that much a trope :)

It was a good NCIS. That show can just be so much fun sometimes and tonight's was clearly that. I really noticed tonight how Mark Harmon can say so much even when he says very little. He's a talented actor.

Good episode of NCIS tonight. And I thought the Doctor Who reference was really cool. "Doctor Who? Who watches that?" And McGee giving up trying to explain the TARDIS to Tony.

I'm glad the guy didn't suddenly switch to his evil Russian voice at the end of the episode. I wonder if the game at the beginning was the same game from NCIS LA though.

There was another interesting little touch. As the opening credit finish there's the shot looking towards the Capital Building and the whole scene went dark right at the end.

Caught that one, made me chuckle a little.

Overall I think it was a good eps of NCIS. Is this the first time we've had a cross over from the NSA?

Anyone ever watch any of the NCIS reruns on USA? It seems that whenever I flip through the channels, they're always airing the same episodes over and over again -- the pilot, fight club, sniper shooting recruiters, Charles Durning, Hal Holbrook, killer who wants to be famous by challenging Gibbs...

That's because USA airs NCIS like 4 times every day, some days they air 6 or more. That's why the same ones are on so frequently. I suppose as long it gives them good ratings it won't change. It's also probably one of the reasons the series has gained in popularity.

Would CSI be able to do an episode without electricity? How would they solve crimes without their 3D virtual autopsy laser light or North American bee sting database?

Just caught NCIS online tonight and I would vote excellent, but NCIS:LA hasn't got me hooked so I didn't vote on the poll.
It was another episode that kept me guessing at who the real perp was. And Jethro is actually getting more and more "nicer", I half expected him to slap Tony in the back of the head after the "He's behind you isn't he?" remark, along with "BOOK HIM, DANO-ZO" :guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:
