My thoughts:

They're just burning these Chase episodes off and have no intention to renew, in my opinion. It was struggling against another newcomer, Hawaii Five-0 on CBS, but now it's being placed against the powerhouse Criminal Minds? Bye Chase. You're entertaining, but ridiculous.

The Event will be on hiatus from January 9 to February 28. That will give everyone just enough time to forget about it when they're busy with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the several weeks off. Did you not learn from FlashForward, guys? Come on... I doubt the Event will be renewed either.

I expect a huge ratings increase when SVU it moves to its later time slot. I know a bunch of people will probably flip channels after the watch Criminal Minds to check it out. Law & Order: LA can probably do fairly well against The Mentalist too.

30 Rock and Outsourced are banished to 10 o clock? Ouch. Three hours of sitcoms in a row... that's a bit much to sit through. Thank god for Hulu.

Unfortunately for NBC, most people wouldn't even sit through two hours of sitcoms this fall....

I'll probably watch Community and The Office live, and I'm going to give Perfect Couples a chance - the premise doesn't sound great (and too similar to ABC's Better With You: following three couples at different stages of their relationship), but I'm curious to see how Mary Elizabeth Ellis does with more of a leading weekly role. I like her on It's Always Sunny, but her part is small and infrequent enough that it's hard to tell her comedy chops.

P&R and 30 Rock I'll likely catch up on later, maybe next summer. Outsourced doesn't do it for me. And neither does any other night for NBC sadly...Kathy Bates is always great but Harry's Law sounds so bleh. I don't think I can sit through another 'unconventional' law show.

The thursday 10pm slot will fall flat due to 18-49 demo do not watch that hour in great numbers. The Cape will suffer from having Chuck as a lead in. NBC had 30 Rock doing solid stuff with The Office, why they broke them up is beyond me.

What NBC need a 10pm thursday is a comedy drama like Boston Legal.

Nice to see Parks & Recreation back in the line-up I like Outsourced but P&R is better pair upped with The Office.

NBC needs a lot, if we had a thread about what NBC needs we would never stop writing.

SVU definitely belongs at 10, and I too suspect its ratings will improve. Will be interested to see how LA does on its own, though.

Not sure what I think about 30 Rock at 10... At least Sunny will be done for the season by then!

I'm interested to see how P&R does with The Office as its lead-in. And Outsourced without The Office as its lead in! My gut tells me Outsourced will be be crushed at 10:30.

Instead of using all the comedies 8-11, NBC could of tried a 8-9 slot on Wednesday nights. I do wonder if 30 Rock tanks at 10pm like I suspect will NBC finally the pull the plug? The strong demo for such low viewers has always been the reason is lasted so long but the demo will flatline in that slot.

Saying that NBC did renew 30 Rock for a 6th season before they could test out the new slot, so they must be pretty comfo...oh yeh DESPERATE :)

I'm sure they would just move it back if it tanks at 10. It would still be stronger at 8-10 than anything but The Office, I imagine.

OK, Chuck is now the ONLY show I watch on NBC. Everything else is craptastic reality shows or sitcoms.

No thanks, gang.

It's a good schedule......for Chuck.

If that lineup doesn't get Chuck a fifth season, nothing will!

NBC are in dire straits.

Returning shows: I'll watch Community and Celebrity Apprentice. I might keep watching Parenthood, but it's starting to bore me as much as Brothers and Sisters did before I gave up on it. [I'm going to give P&R a shot on netflix, and I usually only watch 30 rock on dvd/netflix.]

New shows: I'll watch Harry's Law because it's a David E. Kelley law show...I'll probably also give the Cape a shot...

Wow, ugh...all I watch on NBC now is Chuck and frankly I've been letting the episodes pile up on my DVR. I don't feel much urgency to follow the show anymore.

I'll check out The Cape but I doubt it'll be any good or will survive long. The ads are unintentionally hilarious - like the show is a parody, but where's the punchline?

Maybe NBC needs to style itself like a basic cable network, with some kind of strong identity to all the series it runs. Right now, it's just a scattershot bunch of knockoffs. Here's our police procedural. Here's our sci fi show. Here's our spy show. Here's our action-cop show. It's all so bland and lacking in any distinctiveness.

This is my last week watching Chase and The Event. I dropped Undercovers a couple of weeks ago. The only things left for me are Chuck, the L&O's and The Office.

I just watched my first episode of Chase, it was last week's finally got to it yesterday.

Holy shit. What a piece of shit. Flat cardboard characters. Hilariously acting SO HARD at each other. My god. Just crap TV.

The first four episodes were good, then it got stupid beyond belief.

I still have a soft spot for The Biggest Loser (no pun intended), but everything else... meh...

Who thought Jesse Metcalfe was a good actor? Or good for TV? That person should be fired.
