Will be happy if they end up paring B99 with Good Place. Only two shows I care about seeing on NBC. Seems like common sense, seeing as same producer and pretty much same audience.
B99 is most likely going to be taking The Good Place's time slot when TGP season ends in January or early February.
Still waiting for Season 2 of The Good Place to arrive on Netflix.
Obviously won't spoil anything, but you won't be disappointed.
I will check out Manifest. I just hope it doesn't get too soapy. I'll be watching SVU until I die.
Manifest premieres tomorrow night. It's the only new show this season that I'm planning to try out. Having watched the trailer, I also have concerns that it will get too soapy, but the story looks intriguing.

Manifest dropped the first 10 minutes of episode one 3 weeks ago, and I saw the first two episodes of I Feel Bad a week ago, just after some Big Bnag reruns, but before I saw Doctor Bashir I Presume a few days later, so I'm a little curious what the feck Brian George really sounds like.
I watched the premier episode of Manifest last night and was left with a very 'meh' feeling. The story premise has been done many, many times before (The Returned, The 4400, and to an extent, The Leftovers, etc..) and this reiteration just does not feel like a fresh take on it. I think the single biggest hurdle for me is that the two apparent leads (the brother and cop sister) are just about a wooden as it gets. There was zero screen chemistry and no reason to feel for them. I honestly think the cop sister actress should have been re-cast (she has the dramatic range of a wet mop).
I'll give it another episode or two, but this one is feeling like it will be a 'one (season) and done'. All IMHO
