I wonder if shouted out "for freedom!!!" before he did it?

What an asshole, what they usually say about people who abuse and kill animals in such a manner is usually true.

Get this man off the street.

I can't believe there's even a question about firing him. First of all, he didn't follow the proper procedure for entering a yard with dogs. The people weren't home(I can't imagine leaving a pug unattended in the backyard, anyway, but that's just me. They get overheated so quickly.), so he should have left and had his superiors call and talk to the people and tell them to secure their dogs.

And even if you're genuinely attacked by an animal and have to defend yourself-- which obviously did not happen here-- you don't just kill it and walk away without saying anything. This guy, if the story is true, has some serious mental problems.

If that had happened to my dog, I think I'd lurk in this dude's bushes and catch him after work and beat HIM to death with a giant ass wrench of my choosing.

What a despicable piece of shit.

Exactly. He obviously knew he'd done something wrong. I guess he thought if he took off before they noticed anything had happened he'd be alright.

What kind of a dickless piece of shit beats a little pug to death? What a pussy. This guy has anger issues, obviously. The dog was nipping and he lost his temper.

That--is what happened. It's just not possible to be in fear of your life from a pug. I hope he doesn't have children. The fact that he didn't say a word to the family is telling. He know he did wrong. If you're forced to defend yourself from a dangerous animal, you'd explain what happened.

I completely disagree. Killing this asshole is too good for him. Beat him to within an inch of his life, let him fully recover and then repeat.

My emotional response: Beat the fucker.

My nonviolent response: Sue him, his employer, and have him charged with animal cruelty.

Get off your high horse. This is called "venting" and it's therapeutic.

At least that's happening. They're being sued and he's being investigated. Hopefully that pans out.

Ugh, this makes me so sick. More violence does no one any good, though.
