Nacelles

That's really stretching it, CTM, as it's pretty occluded through the front by the frackin' bridge dome. :) But, even then, despite your desire to argue with me... I think there's plenty of evidence that at no time were these rules really enforced or paid attention to, and it was something Roddenberry threw out there just to be a dick. :P

Edit:
The Oberth was designed originally as an Excelsior test, and believe me, they weren't paying one damn bit of attention to Gene Roddenberry at that time. :)

SS Aurora was an inverted Tholian Spinner with two small nacelles stuck to the sides.

The Sydney is a flipped-over and rescaled shuttle with new warp engines, serving as a transport ship...

Of course, we have the Excelsior, the Chimera, etc...

Yep, I'd say the least-broken rule is the visible bridge dome rule. The Defiant and Nova just barely manage to not break it.

end of discussion.

Do you feel better? Do ya? Are ya gonna sleep well at night now, CTM?

You lost the debate, such as it was, and now are resorting to 'here's my cute internet picture saying you're an ass!' And you're going to declare 'discussion over, I hate you all'.

It would have been easier to just say 'oh' and have done with it.. but, instead, here's a little something from Doctor Cox...
